Edito (September 2018)
Dear colleagues, friends and family
I am glad to share with you some news after a busy past few months for your devoted team and board.
Our Strategy Committee encouraged us to go a step further in the support we wish to give our members through knowledge sharing and education: we responded by creating AMFIE Academy and organising lectures on specific subjects, such as finance, economics or fiscal
issues, in partnership with other organisations. AMFIE hosted its first conference in August at the Vienna Stock Exchange. We encourage members who wish to share their expertise to contribute to these initiatives by writing articles or giving presentations at conferences.
At our General Meeting we warmly welcomed a new board member, Mr. Sami Saad Zaghloul*, who will complement our elected members and share his deep expertise on African countries.
Your AMFIE ordinary shares have increased in value by 7% this year to €91.74, thanks to the sound management of your assets by our authorized directorship and a subsequent dividend of €1.13 per share was voted for 2017 (more on purchase and sale of ordinary shares in the section below).
AMFIE has secured the possibility for members working at UNHCR to benefit from a payroll deduction, which simplifies the process of building up savings with us. This is great news for our members and we are now in discussion with other organizations on the same subject. Congratulations to our team (prospection and management) and we thank UNHCR for their confidence in AMFIE.
Help us serve you better by promoting AMFIE to your colleagues, friends and family and don’t forget to connect to/like our pages on LinkedIn and Facebook!
