Chief Technology Officer (m/f)
We are looking for our future Chief Technology Officer. If you wish to join a dynamic and motivated team, you will be in charge of the IT department consisting of 3 people. You will manage various projects, estimate needs and resources, and participate in their development You will play a crucial role not only in supervision, but also in the actual execution of tasks and coding necessary to achieve the company’s goal.
Project Manager / Team Supervision
- Define project management methodologies and processes, ensuring their application to optimize and facilitate work.
- Ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.
- Interact with all departments to help manage and identify resources in terms of availability and expertise for various ongoing projects.
- Work closely with internal clients to understand their needs and develop effective working relationships to ensure project execution.
- Supervise/coordinate the resources necessary for successful project completion.
- Report directly to the General Manager on the progress and various stages of projects.
- Supervise a team of 3 people.
Software Developer and Architect (zoom in / zoom out)
- Estimate the workload of various ongoing projects and propose a preliminary schedule.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of technical design and data architecture to meet business strategy.
- Define the specifications, models, and guidelines of the IT architecture.
- Help establish a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery, ensuring key systems are regularly analyzed, maintained, and improved.
- Develop and write the functional, data, application, integration, and technical architectures of future IT solutions to ensure process optimization.
- Interact with business representatives to gather user requirements.
- Choose technology based on the existing infrastructure.
- Actively monitor technological advancements.
- Ensure necessary documentation is made available to all the members of the service.
Data Management/Analyst
- Utilize data to facilitate decision-making.
- Ensure data consistency/quality - reporting CSSF/audit/accounting...
- Automate queries to facilitate their generation.
Technical and Behavioral Skills
- Degree in computer science (Master's level) with at least 10 years of experience (ideally in the financial sector).
- Technical skills covering different aspects of an information system (infrastructure, security, monitoring, middleware, software, etc.).
- Realistic and cost-sensitive when making strategic technology choices.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (PL/SQL, SQL Server, Linux, PostgreSQL, Python, etc.).
- Solution-oriented, with analytical, structuring, writing, and presentation skills.
- Solid knowledge of various enterprise architecture and application architecture patterns.
- Rigour, organization, and planning abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills for internal clients.
- Proactive, dynamic, and initiative-driven.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills for internal clients, colleagues, and IT partners.
- French is an asset.
